Double Pocket Greeting Card

On December 11th, I was live on Facebook with Fancy Fold Friday! During this FB Live, I create this adorable, double fold greeting card!

Here's what the front and back of the insert looks like!

This greeting card is a great option to showcase that gorgeous DSP and is makes the perfect gift card holder! Sneak Peak! This DSP is FREE with a $60 order during Jan-Feb 2021 Sale-a-bration! How pretty is it?!

Supplies:

• DSP measuring 4" x 12"; cut off 1-1/2" and save this 'scrap'
• Coordinating cardstock measuring 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and 3-1/2" x 5"
• Two pieces of Whisper White cardstock measuring 3-1/4" x 4-3/4" each
• Everyday label punch: punch three labels from your coordinating cardstock and one label from Whisper White cardstock
• 20" of coordinating ribbon

Instructions:

• Score DSP on the long side at 1-1/4" and 5-1/4"
• Place a thin line of glue on each side of DSP to close and make the pocket; don't glue the small 'flap'
• Take coordinating cardstock punched label and cut in half; glue to cardstock piece measuring 3-1/2" x 5" on top center of each side to create your pull tab
• Glue one piece of the Whisper White cardstock to the front of your cardstock
• Take second Whisper White cardstock piece and glue 'scrap' DSP to bottom to create a second pocket; glue to the backside of your cardstock.
• Wrap ribbon around the DSP and tie in a bow; then glue DSP to larger cardstock piece
• Take 3 other label punches and create your tag for the front of your DSP

Freshly Made Sketches #465 Submission: Dandy Garden Suite

This week I participated in Freshly Made Sketches #465 sketch challenge using the NEW Dandy Garden Suite from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog.

What do you think? I went for a Misty Moonlight Monochromatic card and I love the outcome!

I even used a fun technique on this card! I heat embossed on Vellum! I'll show you how to do this in next week's Technique Tuesday FB Live so make sure you head over to my Facebook and follow my page so you are notified.

Perfectly Plaid Fancy Fold Card

If you weren't on Facebook on Friday you missed a Live instructional video on how to make this adorable Fancy Fold card using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle.

Here's another angle:

The key to making this card is picking a set of three dies that nestle together nicely! I used the Rectangular Stitched Dies but any set of nesting dies would work!

Measurements:

• Shaded Spruce Cardstock base, 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
• Score on long side at 4-1/4"

• Whisper White Cardstock base, 5-1/4" x 8-1/2"
• Score on long side at 2-1/16" and 4-1/8"

• Tis' the Season DSP, 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
