To create the stitched, grey and white background, I glued stripes on 3/4" pieces of cardstock onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I alternated between Smokey Slate CS strips and Basic White CS Strips.
I then ran this concoction through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the second largest Stitched Rectangular Die. This created the stitched all around the outside as you can see in the above picture.
This technique is super easy and adds the right amount of pizzazz to a card so I'm going to attempt to re-do this technique next Tuesday!
