Polished Pink Party Puffins

I attended a Zoom Workshop last Friday and we made a fun card using the Pretty Perennials Bundle. I liked the card soooo much that I decided to use my new favorite stamp set, Party Puffins, and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) the design!

I paired this little Birthday Puffin with Polished Pink Cardstock. This vibrant color is one of our NEW In-Colors launching on May 4th!

I create the Birthday Cake "DSP" by stamping the image repeatedly and coloring the images with Stampin' Blends.

I don't often stamp the insides of my cards but this time I did!

FMS482: Party Puffin Slimline Card

This week I participated in the Freshly Made Sketch #482. The sketch challenge was a slimline card sketch created by Karren Johnson out of New Zealand. 

I pulled out my new favorite stamp set, Party Puffins, to create this card.

I kept the color scheme fairly neutral and threw in a pop of Bermuda Bay Cardstock.

I also used a new Hostess Item available starting May 4th, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper!

#GDP288: CASE-ing with Party Puffins

I decided to participate in the Global Design Project #288 this week! This week, everyone was to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card designed by Manuela Geiswinkler out of Austria.

I decided to use a stamp set from the yet-to-be-released Stampin' Up Annual Catalog, Party Puffins!

I also chose to use a couple of the new In-Colors launching on May 4th: Pale Papaya and Polished Pink!

This years' In-Colors are, by far, my favorite In-Colors they've ever released! AND I'm IN LOVE with the Party Puffins! They're just soooo cute! Definitely watch my Social Media for more card ideas using these adorable little critters.

FB Live Friday: Farewell to Good Morning Magnolia

If you weren't on Facebook today around noon, then you missed out! I went Live with a fun embossing and watercoloring card using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

This gorgeous stamp set will be retiring on May 3rd! It's still available but only while supplies last!

To create this subtle and soft card I first stamped my magnolia with Versamark ink and then embossed it using White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I then used our Water Painters and ink to watercolor the image. It turned out so pretty!!

Sneak Peak: Party Puffins!

I'm so excited I just couldn't wait to share a card I made with a new stamp set coming May 4th!

I made this adorable little birthday card using the NEW Party Puffins Stamp Set!

Card/Envelope Book

Well it's Friday, and you know what that means! I was Live on FB today with FB Live Friday! I shared how to make this adorable Card/Envelope Book using the Snail Mail Product Suite.

This book creates the perfect gift for family or friends! I can't wait to make more of these little booklets using other product suites!

• Base: 6" x 11", score at 5" and 6"
• Front & Back Panels:
• Cardstock - 4-3/4" x 5-3/4"
• Designer Series Paper - 4-5/8" x 5-5/8"
• Outer Spine: 
• Cardstock - 3/4" x 5-3/4"

Technique Cards: Watercolor with Spritzers

If you know me outside of Stampin', you know that I LOVE camping! That's why I was thrilled to find out that the Campology Stamp Set is carrying over into the next Annual Catalog!

I attended On Tour this weekend which was a fantastic training and networking day set up by Stampin' Up! I was able to mingle with many other demonstrators via Zoom from across Canada! One of our terrific demonstrators shared a fun new technique: Watercolor with Spritzers! 

I decided to pair this technique with the Campology Stamp Set and I am in love with these cards!

This technique is so easy! First, you spritz Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with water using one of our Stampin' Spritzers. Then you stamp your image onto the wet watercolor paper. That's it! Easy peazy! 

I highly recommend giving this technique a try! The cards turned out so pretty!

Fancy Fold Friday: Flap Card

I was Live on Facebook this past Friday to share a fun Flap Card using the Handmade for you Stamp Set.

I paired the Handmade for You Stamp Set with a couple of items on the Last Chance Products List: Purple Posy Cardstock and the Stitched Nest Labels Dies.

I also used a few items that will be carrying over to our next Annual Catalog: Floral Heart Dies and both of the Heart Punches!

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to create the "flap" on this flap card!

I'm so excited that the Handmade for You Stamp Set will also be carrying over into the next Annual Catalog!

Subtle Pretty Perennial Card

Well, I can't show you the inside of the new Stampin' Up Catalog yet BUT I can let you know that on June 30th, the Pretty Perennials Bundle will be retiring!! So sad!!

Harvest Hellos is Retiring!

Have you had a chance to check out the Last-Chance Products Sale yet? Did you notice that the Stamp Set, Harvest Hellos, AND coordinating Apple Builder Punch are both retiring?! I was shocked!

I decided to create a couple of different cards using this bundle to show off it's versatility.

For the Apple Card, I used a fun coloring technique called Dot-Coloring! 

To color this way, you take either Stampin' Write Markers or Stampin' Blends and just place dots everywhere you'd like color!

It's such a fun and simple way to color but the results are fabulous!

When making these two cards, I also used the Regals 6x6 Designer Series Paper. This DSP is also retiring May 3rd! Make sure you get your retiring products before it's too late! Products are while supplies last and trust me when I say, they won't last!
