Simplified Tri-Fold Card

If you caught my FB Live or the Replay from July 16th, you may recall that I showcased a gorgeous Tri-Fold Shutter Card. Now, because I know that was pretty complex, I decided to simplify it for everyone!

I went Live on Facebook on July 26th because I had a bit of a brain fart and completely forgot to go Live on Friday! LOL I even had my card all ready to go! Completely slipped my mind!

I used the Flowers of Friendship Bundle with the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to create this simplified tri-fold card.

I'll list the measurements below but make sure to check out the FB Live Replay! 

Measurements:

• Card Base: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
• 5-1/2" x 11"
• Score on the long side at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-1/4" and 7"
• Cut on short side 1/2" from each side from the first and third score lines
• Designer Series Paper Panels: Sweet Symmetry
• 2X (1-5/8" x 5-3/8")
• 4X (1-5/8" x 3/8")
• 1-5/8" x 4-3/8"
• 1" x 5-3/8"
• Cardstock Panels: Basic White Cardstock
• 3-7/8" x 5-3/8"
• 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"

Aug-Dec Mini Catalog Sneak Peak!: Whimsy & Wonder Suite

The NEW Mini Catalog is coming out in just over a week so I decided I'd start sharing some projects using some NEW Product! You'll be able to get your hands on this product starting August 3rd!

When I first perused through the new catalog, I fell in love with the Whimsy & Wonder Suite. This suite combines non-traditional, soft-pastel colors with the beauty of Christmas Trees!

The colors in this suite are: Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, and Iridescent.

What's great about this suite is that the dies coordinate with the paper! For this card I did very little stamping! The trees are die-cut from the Whimsy & Wonder DSP!

I'm going to be having sooo much fun with this product suite! I love making Christmas Cards - especially with non-traditional Christmas colors!

Hand-Penned Shimmer Vellum Card

I've been having lots of fun playing with the Hand-Penned Suite Collection recently. I paired this Suite Collection with our Shimmer Vellum and Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder to create this clean and simple card. 

What makes it clean and simple is the amount of Basic White Cardstock I used for this card.

I stamped my floral image on the Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum and heat set it with white embossing powder.

The trick to using a heat tool with vellum is to constantly be moving the tool so that you don't melt/curl the vellum.

Tri-Fold Shutter Card

Well... after some minor technical difficulties, I was finally Live on FB today to share with you all how to make a Tri-Fold Shutter Card.

I used the Party Puffins stamp set and paired it with one of our Host Specials: Pattern Party DSP. This package of DSP is priced at $40 regular BUT if you Host a qualifying order, you can get this 48-sheet DSP for only $24!

This card is so much fun to make and requires a sheet of 12"x12" cardstock for the base.

The Party Puffins pair perfectly with the Pattern Party DSP. They're just so cute!

I even added a spot on the back of the card to write a personalized message to my recipient.

• Score on the long side at 2", 4", 8" and 10"
• On the short side, 1-1/4" in from each side, cut from the 2" score line to the 10" score line
